Workshop#4

Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome

A Presentation by Dr. Valerie Young

Dr. Young is an internationally known speaker whose research focuses on understanding and eliminating the psychological barriers preventing women from embracing their full potential. Her company, ChangingCourse.com is designed to provide resources, tools, perspective, and inspiration to help discover and follow your dreams of a more fulfilling life, working at what you love. She has spoken to a variety of audiences including Daimler Chrysler, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, American Women in Radio and Television, and Society of Women Engineers. She is currently writing a book on the Imposter Syndrome. Dr. Young was the hit of the Women’s Enterprise Centre’s 2008 Learning for Growth forum and we have been inundated with requests to bring her back to further entertain and educate women entrepreneurs in our province.
