I am an author and consultant. I’ve been developing business strategies, strategic alliances, conducted market research, and engaged teams to rise to the next level. I drive for results and get them in everything I do.
Over the last twenty-five years I worked for a number of technology companies both large and small. During my career I found myself working in a variety of marketing, sales, business development and senior executive positions—all of which were extremely exciting. And more importantly, it gave me the experience I needed to start my own consulting company in 2000.
I work with start-up and emerging companies to help them succeed. I have also founded several technology companies over the past decade as well. I know what it means to start a company from scratch. I know what it means to pitch investors and ask for the much needed capital for a start-up. I know what it means to build a company when the risks are high and the odds are stacked up against you.
I’ve rolled up my sleeves and experienced what it’s like to be an entrepreneur working to get a new business off the ground. It isn’t always easy, but with self-determination, passion, hard work and a bit of luck, business dreams can come true.
I graduated from Laurentian University with an Honours Bachelors degree in Commerce (SPAD). I am a certified management consultant. The Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation is the mark of excellence among management consultants. It is the profession’s only international certification mark, recognized in 45 countries.
I must admit that I am not all business—I am an avid sports enthusiast enjoying tennis, hiking, weight training, golfing and watching football. I have been on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations. Honestly, I believe that giving back brings good things to those who help others, which is an integral part of building the kind of karma that brings success.
