CMC-Manitoba is on the move and growing. In 2018, we launched an active program to attract new members to our Institute and, it's working! We welcomed 4 new members last year, and several more are completing their final course. And this is just the beginning.

Please support this effort by inviting a guest/potential new member so that they can learn about the benefits of membership and certification.  Remember to bring lots of business cards to distribute AND to enhance your chances for the door prize!

About The Guests You Are Inviting.
You will introduce them at the event. A standard format introduction will be provided when you register your guest

Here is a summary of key requirements to become a CMC:

  • Three years of full time (1200 hours per year) experience in management consulting as demonstrated by engagement summaries and client references.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional designation (CPA, PEng)
  • Demonstrated competencies in one or more of the functional areas of management (Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Production/Operations)

On March 6, interested consultants will be guided through the application and certification process. This session will describe the various steps according to your level of education and experience. All potential members must pass the Ethical Behaviour one day session. This will be held in Winnipeg on Monday, April 8. We are also offering the three-day Essentials of Management Consulting course from April 5 to 7. Special incentive pricing is available for those that sign up for both courses. A description of the process will be provided by the current President (Warren Thompson, CMC) and Past President (Tim Kist, CMC) at the February event.
Further details will be provided at the February 20 event. And members of Council can answer any additional questions you or your guest might have about becoming a Certified Management Consultant.
