Ottawa, Ontario – June 2026 – The Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC–Canada) is pleased to announce the successful completion of a pro bono advisory engagement with Community of Guardians / Communauté des Gardiens, a Canada-based nonprofit organization developing a global action platform to help individuals, experts, and ambassadors take measurable action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Community of Guardians, also known as CoGs, was founded by Tammy Lewis with the mission “Force for Good—Inspiring the world to take Action.” The organization is building a purpose-driven platform where members can learn, participate, complete SDG-focused challenges, and celebrate collective progress. Its model brings together three key groups: individual members who want to take action, knowledge experts who translate science and research into practical challenges, and ambassadors who help inspire participation and amplify the mission.
Through the CMC Pro Bono Program, Rodney Evely, FCMC, provided approximately 50 hours of volunteer consulting support focused on business plan strategy, coaching, and strategic advisory review. His work included an independent review of the Community of Guardians business plan, assessing the strength of the case, economic defensibility, governance readiness, strategic positioning, and capital readiness.
The advisory review found that Community of Guardians has a strong and differentiated concept, a credible founder, and a timely market opportunity around verified, indicator-mapped SDG action. It also identified several areas to strengthen before institutional funding conversations, including market sizing, unit economics, governance structure, staged capital planning, and milestone-based implementation.

The completed engagement provides the Community of Guardians with a clearer strategic pathway as it continues developing its platform, strengthening its governance foundation, and preparing for future conversations with funders, partners, and institutional stakeholders.
