January 2026 – Toronto, Ontario
The CMC® Pro Bono Program has completed a no-charge management consulting engagement for the Neurodiversity Change Foundation. The CMC Canada Pro Bono Program sources management consultants and provides free management consulting to registered charities in need.
Toronto-based Certified Management Consultant Janet Cloud volunteered her professional services to assist NCF while it is establishing financial, operational and organizational building blocks of a sustainable impactful non-profit delivering products, services, and knowledge locally, provincially, federally and worldwide.
Janet mentored and coached NCF ’s Founder & Board Chair to identify and define startup activities feasible within funding and resource constraints. Operational building blocks and best practices were discussed to create a view of the possible end-state organization. Priorities were identified with options for resource allocation to have the greatest positive impact on delivery of the NCF mission. Work focused on mechanisms to perform advocacy and create awareness to encourage engagement with NCF and attract partners and donors. AI was carefully used to create communications materials for multiple stakeholders. Janet also helped prepare materials for communication to the board facilitating their understanding and the decision-making required relating to the many facets and implications of implementing a start-up plan with limited funds and resources.
