A Message from CMC-Canada's Board Chair
On April 2nd the Board accepted Michael Brennan’s resignation as Executive Director of CMC-Canada, effective May 1, 2020. Michael is leaving to take on the role of Chief Administrative Officer for the newly formed National Police Federation, headquartered in Ottawa. This is a loss for CMC-Canada, but we can only respect his decision and wish him every success.
Michael arrived in September 2018 during a difficult time for CMC-Canada. His leadership and senior level experience stabilized the organization in short order. During his tenure CMC-Canada has made many advancements in improving operations, re-building trust across the organization and enhancing membership value. We are in an excellent position to weather the challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic and grow our profession in the years to come.
While Michael’s commitment to the future of Management Consulting will be missed, he leaves an exceptionally talented National Office team in place. Donna Ringrose, Director of Corporate Partnerships, will serve as Interim Executive Director for the time being. The Board of CMC-Canada will commence the process of locating and appointing a new Executive Director shortly.
On behalf of the Board I express my appreciation of Michael and his contribution to the organization and wish him every success in the future.
Leigh Harris, FCMC
