Background & Project Summary
"Securing Canada’s Digital Frontlines" is a groundbreaking cybersecurity initiative aimed at fortifying Canada’s national critical infrastructure against emerging cyber threats.
The project provided a transformative security framework for defense and energy organizations, integrating zero-trust architecture, advanced identity and access management (IAM), and AI-driven threat intelligence.
This initiative marked the first full-scale federal deployment of CyberArk IAM within a multi-agency critical infrastructure ecosystem, setting a national precedent for zero-trust implementation at scale.
The initiative modernized security posture by replacing legacy systems with CyberArk IAM solutions, implementing a 24/7 AI-enabled Security Operations Center (SOC), and ensuring full compliance with NIST 800-53 and Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CSE) guidelines.
The SOC utilized advanced machine learning algorithms to detect anomalous behavior patterns and predict threats with up to 92% accuracy, significantly enhancing proactive defense mechanisms.
Through stakeholder workshops and agile implementation cycles, the project strengthened organizational cyber resilience from executive leadership to frontline operators.
Over 35 cross-sectoral workshops and simulations were conducted, ensuring cybersecurity literacy across all levels and creating a repeatable engagement model for future federal deployments.
